About Richard Dorval
Richard Dorval, Dorval Management Associates’ founder and president, is well known for business performance improvement in both financial and operational areas. He possesses over 25 years experience in business management and consulting, effectively operating his own companies and assisting others with realizing business success. He founded Dorval Management Associates, Inc., a business improvement firm, in 2003.
Richard left a secure position to start his first business, experiencing all the trials and tribulations of an upstart and built it into a very successful company. He is an experienced hands-on advisor who understands and appreciates what owners go through. Richard has worked with small to medium size companies in many industries over the years and now concentrates his efforts helping contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and service providers in the construction industry.
He’s had great success using his entrepreneurial approach in working with many business owners to increase their profits, cash flow, employee accountability, delegation, and “getting their life back”.
Richard earned a Masters degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelors degree in biology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
Richard is a member of Associated Builders & Contractors of Rhode Island.
